Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, our beloved singer Gulyanag Mammadova was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Although I called and talked to him directly and congratulated him, I decided to congratulate him through the media as well.

After the collapse of the USSR, this is the only case in which a singer of a foreign country was awarded the title of People's Artist among the former Soviet republics. This really made me happy. One of the singers I love and respect is Gulyanag Mammadova.

There is great courage, cheerfulness, naturalness, and patriotism in that thin soul of Mrs. Gulyanag. In addition to being a very talented singer, Ms. Gulyanag has all positive human qualities as a person and a friend. I also congratulate his relatives and loved ones.

I know that this success is not only the success of Mrs. Gulyanag, but the success of the people, state, and culture of Azerbaijan. This joy is the joy of those who love it.

I remembered a bravery of Mrs. Gulyanag for people with disabilities. I would like to take this opportunity to say that we were having a big event on the day of married people. Someone wanted to disrupt our event. In order to disrupt the event, they wanted to take the members of our culture department, who came to this event from the region, to another event. Mrs. Gulyanag was also invited to this event. They wanted to exclude him and the participant of the 7th Mugam Competition, 1st group visually impaired Suma Tapdigova, from that event.
