Ujal Hagverdiyev, who received a higher education in art and is a member of the Union of Azerbaijan Artists, participated in the exhibition of young Azerbaijani artists in France in 1990, in 1991 in Tunisia, in 1992 in Cologne, and in 1993 in Vienna. In 1995, he participated in the "joint exhibition of Azerbaijani and Turkish artists" held in Istanbul. The artist's works were also exhibited in the USA, Germany, Austria, France, Norway and Turkey.

In 2016, during the exhibition of Ucal Hagverdiyev's works, his son artist Butanay Hagverdiyev, who is a follower of his art, said: "It is very difficult to talk about my father's work within the framework of a certain genre. Because he was constantly searching, interested in various fields, and never stood idle. One of the decisive points in his work is his study of the world around him. According to this principle, the artist's job is not to paint, but to study the surrounding world.

19 years after his death, Ujal Hagverdiyev's works are still displayed with admiration and love.

The "Youth" exhibition, organized on January 27 at "Baku House of Photography" in Icherisheher, is one of the series of exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of Ucal Hagverdiyev. The exhibition is held in cooperation with "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve Department, "Baku Photography House" and "Savalan" ASPI WINERY (Azerbaijan), as well as with the support of Azerbaijan Artists' Union and ART Zone. This exhibition introduces the viewer to the atmosphere of the creative environment in Baku in the late 1980s and 1990s. Within the framework of the exhibition, the portraits of Ucal Hagverdiyev's contemporaries and teachers in the 1980s are displayed.

Specially for the exhibition, a short film collected from the documentary chronicle of the period when the "spontaneous union" of like-minded artists of the 1980s-1990s was created in the "Youth" boarding house is shown.

At the invitation of Yelena Hagverdiyeva, wife of the late Ucal Hagverdiyev, Honored artist Yelena Hagverdiyeva, a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the "International Society of Disabled People" PU Tahir Khudiyev and the member of the Board of Directors Aghalar Aliyev said that the exhibition was organized at a high level and they enjoyed the great works on display. they said they bought it.

The exhibition opened on January 27 will continue until February 19.
