As it is known, during the terrorist attack against the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran on January 27, the head of the security service of the embassy, senior lieutenant Asgarov Orkhan Rizvan oglu was killed and two people were injured.

Orkhan Askerov's body was brought to Baku, a farewell ceremony was held at his family's house in Yeni Yasamal, and he was buried in II Martyrs' Alley, accompanied by an honor guard.

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov participated in the mourning ceremony of martyr Orkhan Askerov and conveyed the condolences of President Ilham Aliyev to the family of our martyr.

Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagchi and other employees of the embassy also participated in the mourning ceremony of Orkhan Askerov and expressed their condolences to his family and relatives.

Orkhan Askerov was born in Ganja in 1986, graduated from Sumgait City Nizami Ganjavi Technical and Natural Sciences Lyceum in 2003.

He was married. His two children remained a memory.
